COMPANY HISTORY

M.H. Charlton Removals & Storage is based in Bedlington Station, Northumberland and was established in 1976 by Mr Maurice H Charlton.

From humble beginnings, we have grown into one of the most prominent removals and storage companies in the area, while remaining a family owned and operated business.
We have built our reputation on providing professional service at very competitive prices and draw from many years of experience to meet all of your removal and storage needs.
Over the years we have had the pleasure of moving literally thousands of people across the street, across the region and across the country. Many of whom are returning customers who have used our services several times.
We provide a fast, friendly and efficient service to all our customers.

OWNERS MESSAGE

With 2006, our 30^th anniversary here, I reflect back to when I ventured into the Removals & Storage business with one of my closest friends and a second hand van helping a local company move, store and deliver snooker and pool tables, never dreaming the company would grow to be the size we are today.

When I look back on this phenomenal growth, I can't help but recognize the dedication and pride that the Charlton's employees have always brought to bear. As a service company we live or die by the value of our employees.

Importantly, I want to recognise and thank our many loyal customers. The best employees in the world and the finest fleet of vehicles mean nothing if we have no users of our services.

MH Charlton's is fortunate in that over 85% of our business is derived from repeat customers and personal recommendations. It is these businesses and individuals who have truly made MH Charltons the company it is today.
