Northumberland County Council have entrusted us to move their entire County Hall complex at Morpeth while the building is being painted and re-carpeted throughout. This involves supplying packing crates and boxes to each department as needed and relocating their furniture elsewhere in the complex while these works are carried out. Work here has to be done with minimal noise and disturbance as we are having to work around a functioning and busy Government building.

For over 15 years, we have been contracted to Fenwick of Newcastle department store to make home deliveries on their behalf. This world famous, prestigious store is renowned for their impeccable reputation in customer services & excellent delivery. MH Charlton delivers large, cumbersome and bulky items to customers nationwide: e.g. American style fridge-freezers, Range cookers, large or heavy Sofas and Dining furniture. We also supply vans & drivers for their disposal on a regular basis to assist with normal furniture, audio and electrical deliveries.

We are currently removing, storing and re-delivering furniture to Persimmon Homes show houses and new development sites around the North-East. Persimmon are one of the largest and busiest home builders in the area and their show homes are immaculately presented with designer furnishings and expensive decorations and artwork. We are responsible for the safe moving and storage of these furnishings which we hold at our secure storage facility.

Extensive alterations and improvements are currently being made to the majority of rented homes owned by Wansbeck District Council. This involves entire streets being temporarily displaced while new kitchen & bathrooms are fitted. We are responsible for the removal, storage and delivery of the tenants goods during these works.
